ANIMA – a book on the nature of artistic creation

Anima – In one of its stories, I spent an entire lifetime.
This is how writer and painter Jaromír Vondra signed his second published book. Across all 623 pages, the story is built in a deeply personal way, exploring feeling, emotion, and the absolute bond between creation and life itself. Here, creation becomes a space that gradually evolves into a functioning ecosystem. Yet at the beginning of every great world lies a standalone foundation in the form of a work and the first creators, who had to live their own lives before shaping its final form.

Official book description:

Nolan May is an artist working within the Imaginative Organization, where for the past ten years he has gone through hundreds of thousands of simulations of his own visions to fully develop his Creation. The organization's goal is to eventually transfer these intricately constructed visions into the real spacetime. After a global power upheaval, the Imaginative Organization announces its first official mission, named Anima. While risky, the mission allows participants to experience indescribable beauty. However, taking part also means facing the harsh face of propaganda and embarking on a profound journey that can lead to places so dark and remote that even the most experienced fear them.
