Jaroslav Svěcený's Advent Concert in Havlíčkův Brod

The period of the four Sundays before Christmas, known as Advent, represents a time of preparation for people. Whether in a spiritual sense or otherwise, the very beginning of this period evokes a feeling that cannot be replicated. Music accompanies people through every emotion and every day, becoming an integral part of human life—one that, in fact, engages in an inner dialogue with its listener, saying: "Listen to me, and I will listen to you."

On Thursday, December 4, violin virtuoso Jaroslav Svěcený will perform at the Hall of the Old Town Hall in the center of Havlíčkův Brod, accompanied by guitarist Lukáš Sommer.
That evening, starting at 7:30 PM, the audience will experience the atmosphere leading up to the first Advent Sunday of this year. The Renaissance-style hall will become a space where music meets tradition for the duration of the evening.
