Kristian Kodet (born July 17, 1948) is a Czech painter, graphic artist, and a member of the prominent Kodet artistic family. Between 1964 and 1967, he studied at the Academy des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, and already during his studies he began exhibiting in galleries in both Belgium and Czechoslovakia. Following the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968, he emigrated to Switzerland, where he continued his artistic work. In the 1970s, he exhibited in galleries across Europe; however, after an exhibition in Prague in 1977, the communist regime banned him from exhibiting in the capital.

In 1979, he emigrated again, this time to the United States, where throughout the following decade he exhibited primarily in New York, Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver.

After 1990, he returned to Czechoslovakia and resumed intensive exhibition activity both domestically and abroad. His work has been presented in numerous Czech galleries as well as at major exhibitions dedicated to three generations of the Kodet artistic family. In addition to painting, he has also worked on book illustrations and authored literary works. The works of Kristian Kodet are represented in collections and galleries across Europe and North America.
