Jaromír Vondra (born May 7, 1998, in Prague) is a Czech painter and writer. He initially focused on drawing, but over time he moved away from it and gradually turned to painting, seeing it as offering greater scope for in-depth work with color and personal expression.

At the end of 2020, his first book, Lotosové kyvadlo (The Lotus Pendulum), was published. It bears the characteristics of both a historical novel and a detective thriller. After completing his university studies, Mr. Vondra held an extensive exhibition of his paintings from 1 July to 30 August 2022 in the Vysočany district of Prague. On 5 June 2023, his second book, titled ANIMA (Latin for "Soul"), was published. Jaromír Vondra described it as a pivotal work in his artistic career because, through it, he sought to convey the essence of the author's bond with the work that first taught him how to approach painting and which, in the book, can be presented in entirely different contexts. This personal contrast embedded in the book became the key step that enabled him to develop his own distinctive artistic expression in painting. He subsequently presented this artistic style at an exhibition of his paintings held in June 2025 at Gallery Pod Věží in Mladá Boleslav.

In both his books and paintings, he conveys the atmosphere experienced by the human mind in various situations and events—an atmosphere reflecting what it truly means to be alive.
